  1. Compensation of marks

    1. Compensation may be applied to each of the below modules, (except CHM2018) providing that the coursework element is achieved at 40% or above. Compensation cannot be applied to CHM2018 as all the components of assessment are practical based.

  2. Passing a module

    1. Owing to the requirements of the Royal Society of Chemistry, all practical-based elements and components of respective modules need to be achieved at 40% or above.
      All components therefore contributing to the coursework element of the following modules need to be achieved at 40% or above: CHM1017, CHM1019, CHM1020, CHM2011, CHM2012, CHM2013, CHM2018, CHM3014, CHM3015, CHM3016 and CHM3020
